On March 10, 2023, the coordinator of the IATEXT division, Text Editing and Textual Analysis, Carmen Márquez Montes gave the three-hour seminar Theater and historical memory in present-day Spain. Auto con loa, entremés and mojiganga, in the Classroom-Conference at the Seminário de Especialização em Estudos Espanhóis do Mestrado em Estudos de Cultura, Literatura e Línguas Modernas

This is a research and knowledge transfer activity to society, in which the Research Institute for Textual Analysis and Research is fully committed.

The Archive of the Historical Memory of the Canary Islands (AMHC)- fruit of the Research project: “Recovery of the historical memory of Franco's repression in the Canary Islands: written and oral sources” and with the participation of members of the Documentary Heritage and Bibliography Division, continues to carry out tasks of transferring knowledge to society.

On this occasion it has been thanks to the collaboration of the Association of Historical Memory of Arucas who wanted to have the exhibition that bears the name of the project: "Recovery of the historical memory of Franco's repression in Canarias: written and oral sources" and, without any doubt, they have assumed the costs of reproduction of the exhibition panels.

Your participation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Library of Spanish Studies (7th floor of the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra).

Professors Trinidad Arcos Pereira and Gregorio Rodríguez Herrera, members of the Rhetoric, Humanism and Classical Tradition Division, together with Cristina Santos Pinheiro and Joaquim Pinheiro, from the University of Madeira, organized the Colloquium  Rhetoric, Progymnasmata and Digital Humanities.

This colloquium will take place on March 8  2023 at the University of Madeira, Room 1.114 (Campus da Penteada) at 10:00 a.m.
