Computational Linguistics and Applications Softwares
Its main research activities are related to the automatized processing of morphology, syntax and semantics of the Spanish language. These activities are specified in lines of action related to: phonetics and hyphenation, inflectional and derivational morphology, lexicography and neology, parsing and functional disambiguation, the creation and management of corpus in the morphological and syntactic level, and the categorization and classification of texts. The transfer of this research is the developement of specific applications softwares for both research and for the educational, cultural and professional fields. The results of these investigations are intended to influence the field of education, training and research according to the general and specific objectives of IATEXT.
