Professors Trinidad Arcos Pereira and Gregorio Rodríguez Herrera, members of the Rhetoric, Humanism and Classical Tradition Division, together with Cristina Santos Pinheiro and Joaquim Pinheiro, from the University of Madeira, organized the Colloquium  Rhetoric, Progymnasmata and Digital Humanities.

This colloquium will take place on March 8  2023 at the University of Madeira, Room 1.114 (Campus da Penteada) at 10:00 a.m.

The Division Cognition, Texts and Contexts of the University Institute of Analysis and Textual Applications organizes the Lexicometry II Seminar that will feature the Professor of Spanish linguist, Carmen Pineira-Tresmontant of the  University of Artois  and Dr. Stephane Patin from the University of Paris. 

The Seminar will take place on March 8, 9 and 10 at the IATEXT Headquarters from 5 to 8 pm.

Attendance is free and for new and senior researchers.

The University Institute for Textual Analysis and Applications has given a training seminar to Digital Humanities researchers of classical languages ​​from the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Complutense University of Madrid, on a computer application developed by IATEXT.

The Doctor and member of the Text Editing and Textual Analysis Division of IATEXT, Miguel Ángel Perdomo Batista, has recently published a book called "Philology and Illustration in Spain. The discourse on decadence in eighteenth-century Spanish letters".
