Exhibition "Recovery of the historical memory of Franco's repression in the Canary Islands: written and oral sources"
The Archive of the Historical Memory of the Canary Islands (AMHC)- fruit of the Research project: “Recovery of the historical memory of Franco's repression in the Canary Islands: written and oral sources” and with the participation of members of the Documentary Heritage and Bibliography Division, continues to carry out tasks of transferring knowledge to society.
On this occasion it has been thanks to the collaboration of the Association of Historical Memory of Arucas who wanted to have the exhibition that bears the name of the project: "Recovery of the historical memory of Franco's repression in Canarias: written and oral sources" and, without any doubt, they have assumed the costs of reproduction of the exhibition panels.
The opening of the exhibition took place last Friday, March 3 at the Arucas Cultural Center and was guided by Dr. Candelaria González Rodríguez, representing the research team of the project.
The exhibition is part of the events organized by the Arucas Historical Memory Association for its 20th anniversary and will continue until April 14.
