Jornadas Escenario Galdós. Jornadas de ecdótica.
From April 18 to 20, the Escenario Galdós Workshops will be held. These workshops have the purpose of showing the digital publishing work carried out with the ESCENARIOGALDÓS I+D Project . Texts, thought and scenarios by Benito Pérez Galdós, funded by the Canary Islands Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI) of the Government of the Canary Islands.
The edition of a selection of works by Benito Pérez Galdós (1843-1920), who came to the theater in full personal and creative maturity, ventured into it by vocation and also for expressive needs, has been addressed. in addition to his desire to participate in the great changes that were taking place in the turn of the century scene and that required a new way of conceiving and structuring theatrical texts. Since March 1892, the date of its first premiere, Galdós has had theater as the preferred genre of his creation.
These conferences will have two venues: on April 18 and 21, 2023 it will be at the IATEXT Headquarters (Campus del Obelisco, Calle Pérez del Toro, 1). On April 19 and 20 it will be at the Pérez Galdós House-Museum. (Calle Cano, 6).
Attendance is free until full capacity is reached.
