The International Colloquium Scientific Travel, Intermediary Agents and Atlantic Trade, 18th-19th Centuries aims to involve researchers who discuss the experiences of systematization of nature in America, in contact, above all, with traveler narratives and naturalists, through memories and stories about landscapes. , the natural world, the intermediary agents, the encounter societies, the indigenous cosmogonies, the imperial dynamics, with their commercial networks, from the Atlantic to the sertões and, finally, the border spaces that helped configure the territorial configurations of the Americas .
