Predoctoral researcher and member of the Documentation, Heritage and Atlantic History Division of IATEXT, Nira Santana Montañez participates in the International Seminar "Gender, maritime culture and creation of the modern world" held at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

This seminar is part of the IBEROT@C Project Iberian maritime culture and oceanographic practices in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic: tacit knowledge, standardization, practical knowledge and geopolitics.

Last Thursday, November 17, 2023, the Doctor and member of the Documentation, Heritage and Atlantic History Division of IATEXT, Manuel Méndez Alonzo participated with his communication Sixteenth Century Spain: European and Trans-Atlantic Expansions at the University of Ljubljana.

Doctor Manuel Ramírez Sánchez, member of the Division of Documentary Heritage and Bibliometrics, participates as a speaker in the First Scientific Update Course “The researcher in the digital age”, organized by the Institute of Rioja Studies of the Government of La Rioja and the UNED of La Rioja.

The postdoctoral researcher Sergio Hernández Suárez belonging to the Documentation, Heritage and Atlantic History Division of the IATEXT is part of the Organizing Commission of the International Colloquium Viagens Cientificas, Agentes Intermediarios, comércio atlântico, XVII centuries -XIX.

It will be held on January 10 and 11, 2024 at the Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa.
